Season 1 ends 31 October

Starlasso seasons are calendar months. Every ranked match moves your rating; your rating sets your tier; the ladder shows every pilot in the season. Season 1 is the launch season and ends at midnight Pacific on 31 October 2026.

The five tiers

Dustbelow 1000. Where a rough start lands.

Drift1000 and up. Every pilot starts here.

Orbit1600 and up. The first tier that pays a bonus the first time you reach it in a season.

Lasso2200 and up. Consistent top-two finishes.

Nova2800 and up. The top of the ladder.

How rating moves

Each ranked match changes your rating by your place: first pays the most, the middle places little or nothing, and last costs a few points. A pilot who leaves a match takes last place. Reaching Orbit, Lasso or Nova for the first time in a season pays a Stardust bonus once.

What a season end does

When the month turns, the ladder is archived and every rating is pulled halfway back towards 1000, so the next season starts close but not from scratch. The tier bonuses reset with it. Your record, Stardust and items are untouched.

Rewards

Season rewards are revealed before the season ends, on the rankings tab. Rank high to be ready: the tier you hold at the final tick is the one that counts.

Season 1 is the launch season, and the first hundred pilots are in it through the beta link. The App Store release follows.
